Next Learn To Fence Program: Spring 2013 - 10 Week Program starting April 3, 2013
The Ajax Fencing Club offers Learn to Fence classes in association with Town of Ajax Recreation Department. We offer courses for boys and girls ages 8 to 13, as well as an active teen program and an adult fun and fitness program, at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Learning the sport of fencing is a great way to develop self-confidence, improve motor skills and coordination, and begin to understand strategic reasoning.
Please be aware that our Learn to Fence programs always fill up quickly, especially the kids programs, so make sure you register as early as possible to avoid disappointment. All fencing equipment is provided by the club. Students must wear indoor court shoes and long pants.

Children ages 8-13 yrs: 6:30-7:45pm
Teen & Adults: 8-9:15pm
Cost: $126 plus HST

Registration for the Spring 2013 classes opens February 27, 2013 at 9am. All registration is done through the Town of Ajax Recreation Department. (You cannot register for this program through the Ajax Fencing Club.) Please note that you must obtain a family PIN to access any Town of Ajax programs, so please email the Town's Parks and Recreation staff in advance at connectatrec@ajax.ca to activate a new account.

Experienced Fencers Program
If you already know how to fence or have completed our three introductory programs then you are ready to join the Ajax Fencing Club. The Club meets Monday and Thursday nights and offers private lessons, group lessons and full competitive programs and training schedules. Please contact the club directly for current times, dates and costs.
Fencing for Adults
The Ajax Fencing Club has a large number of adults who joined our Learn to Fence program to get fit and meet new people. Our core group continues to grow as the fencers develop at their own pace for fun, fitness and friendship. Some teens and adults enjoy fencing at the club level while others branch out and test their skills on the Ontario Challenge Circuit that is geared toward competitive recreational fencers. Our coaching staff understands the importance of letting you develop at your pace in an effort to provide personal development, growth and challenge.
Summer Fencing Camp
The Ajax Fencing Club will be running a Beginners Summer Fencing Day Camp for kids.

The Ajax Fencing Club imports most of the basic equipment you will need at affordable prices. We carry masks, jackets, gloves, pants, swords and protective equipment. All masks, jackets and pants are CE approved 350 NT (standard requirement for most domestic fencing tournaments.)
